Becoming Your Most Authentic Self
" She loved the smell of fresh flowers and new beginnings "
I want to talk to you about something I feel very passionate about. Being authentically you. In a world where we are constantly being bombarded on how we should live or how we should look, I think it's a beautiful thing to be completely yourself. We feel the need to act or look a certain way in order to be loved or for someone to be drawn to us. We strive to be this "I can do it all" and try and please everyone. It's exhausting believe me I know it.
It's time to stop trying to please everyone else and time to start living your best. The harsh truth is that not everyone is going to love you, sometimes the person you thought would be there for you is suddenly not there anymore. The people you called your friends ended up not really being your friends. So here you are trying so hard while everything seems to be falling apart. Let me tell you that is a very dark and lonely place to be in.
I want to you to let go of who you think you are supposed to be and start embracing your true self. Let go of your past and forgive the people that hurt you. Don't carry that boulder of self hatred over your shoulder anymore! Forgive yourself and start learning from your mistakes. Start allowing yourself to be spontaneously you!
Find Your Tribe
3. Stop comparing.
It's a lonely place to be surrounded in a room full of people that you don't connect with. People who don't care about you or much of anything. People that continuously hurt you. Don't hesitate to walk away from that crowd that makes you feel low and doubt your self worth. Find your tribe. Seek out the people who love and support you. Spend your time with others that make your heart dance and love them dearly.
I'm guilty of it, you're guilty of it... heck aren't we all? We see a pretty picture on social media of fellow followers recent travels or all the great things they seem to be accomplishing in life. The truth is that our lives aren't as glamorous or perfect as they look on social media. The energy you'll spend focusing on someone else's story is far better spent working on your own.
Live The Little Things
Start living the little things. Go on that weekend trip, make someone you love feel special, and do more of what makes your heart and soul happy. Talk more to God. Be kind. Be real. Be you.
P.S. I hope this brought some joy and inspiration to your day. I'd love to hear back from you! Subscribe to my mailing list for exclusive discounts and to keep in touch. Xoxo.
